Ordering from Vapourium
Do you ship NZ-wide, and how fast?
Yes. Orders placed before 2:00pm on a business day are dispatched the same day from our Dunedin and Timaru stores with NZ Post tracking. Non-rural addresses are usually delivered overnight; rural addresses take 2–3 business days. We do not currently ship to Australia or the United States. Full details are in our Shipping Guide.
How much is shipping?
Standard NZ addresses: $5, or no shipping charge on orders over $75. Rural addresses: $9, or no shipping charge on orders over $150. Saturday delivery is $8 for standard addresses when ordered before 2:00pm Friday.
Do I need to verify my age to order online?
Yes. All vaping products are R18. After your first order, upload a photo of your ID using the form shown after checkout. Once verified, your account is marked and you will not need to do it again. See our Age Verification page.
Where are your stores?
We have three retail stores: Central Dunedin (24A London Street), South Dunedin (333 King Edward Street) and Timaru (23 Sophia Street). Our Christchurch store closed on 31 March 2026.
Which e-liquids does Vapourium make?
We manufacture Legacy, Aotearoa E-Juice, Cloud Therapy, Chill, Tall Boys Salts, Pure and Pepper in New Zealand. Brands such as Chosen (Lion Labs), Fruit Bomb, Super Fresh and Vapengin are stocked but not made by us. See Made by Vapourium.

What is E-Liquid?
E-Liquid is a fluid used in refillable vape devices. It is heated by a coil to create vapour for inhalation. Most E-Liquids contain a base mixture of vegetable glycerine (VG), propylene glycol (PG), and flavouring. Some formulations also include nicotine.
What is vaping?
Vaping is the act of inhaling vapour produced by heating E-Liquid inside a vaping device. It does not involve combustion and produces vapour, not smoke.
Can I vape in public?
Vaping is restricted in New Zealand under current smoke-free legislation. It is not permitted in most indoor workplaces, schools, hospitality venues, and other regulated spaces. Always check signage or ask before using a vape in public.
What types of nicotine are used in E-Liquids?
The two main types are freebase nicotine and nicotine salts. They differ in strength, delivery, and device compatibility. For more detail, see our Freebase vs Nicotine Salt Guide.
How long does E-Liquid last?
This varies depending on device type and personal usage. Lower-powered devices use less E-Liquid. Typical daily use ranges from 1 ml to 5 ml or more.
How do I fill or use E-Liquid with my device?

What is VG and PG?

How long does a vape battery last?
Battery life depends on capacity (mAh), device settings, and usage. For safety and charging guidance, see our Battery Safety Guide.
How do I care for my vape kit?
- Replace coils or pods regularly. For tanks, replace the coil when flavour drops or vapour production declines. For pod systems, replace the entire pod once the liquid is depleted or the vapour begins to taste burnt.
- Clean tanks during coil changes. Rinse with warm water and allow all parts to dry fully before reassembly. Do not soak coils or batteries.
- For refillable pod devices, avoid running the pod dry — refill when the liquid is low, and allow new pods to sit upright for 5–10 minutes before use so the coil can saturate.
- Store E-Liquids and devices safely. Keep both in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, and always out of reach of children.
- Keep your device clean. Wipe down the pod or tank connection points regularly to prevent condensation build-up or misfiring.
