The ranges manufactured by Vapourium in Dunedin are Legacy Salts (30 mL), Tall Boys Salts (60 mL), Aotearoa E-Juice, Pure and Pepper. Nicotine salt e-liquid is formulated for low-power pod systems and mouth-to-lung devices, and is not intended for sub-ohm tanks. Every product listed is notified under the Smokefree Environments and Regulated Products Act 2020 and is restricted to persons aged 18 and over.

Specifications

  • Strength labels in this collection range from 12 mg/mL nicotine salt (6.84 mg/mL nicotine) to 50 mg/mL nicotine salt (28.5 mg/mL nicotine). The New Zealand maximum is 28.5 mg/mL nicotine, equivalent to 50 mg/mL nicotine salt.
  • Base ratio is typically 50VG/50PG
  • Bottle sizes: 30 mL and 60 mL, with child-resistant caps
  • Vapourium ranges are mixed and bottled in Dunedin from USP-grade propylene glycol and vegetable glycerine, food-grade flavourings and nicotine benzoate

Common questions

Why are two nicotine numbers shown?

Labels state the nicotine salt (nicotine benzoate) concentration. Because the salt molecule is heavier than nicotine itself, the nicotine content is about 57% of the label figure: a 35 mg/mL nicotine salt e-liquid contains 19.95 mg/mL nicotine. Both figures are shown on every product page.

What is the difference between nicotine salt and freebase?

Nicotine salt is nicotine combined with benzoic acid, which lowers the pH of the liquid. It is used in low-power pod devices. Freebase nicotine is sold at lower strengths for higher-power tanks. Vapourium's guide explains both.

Which devices are compatible?

Refillable pod systems and mouth-to-lung tanks with coils above about 0.8 ohms, including Uwell Caliburn, Vaporesso XROS, Innokin Trine and Geekvape Wenax.

Ordering and delivery

  • Orders placed before 2:00 pm on a business day are dispatched the same day from Dunedin or Timaru.
  • Delivery is overnight to non-rural New Zealand addresses and two to three business days to rural addresses, with tracking.
  • No shipping charge on orders over $75 (non-rural) and $150 (rural); otherwise $5 non-rural and $9 rural.
  • All customers are age-verified (R18). Orders are delivered with a signature requirement.
  • Vaping products cannot be shipped to Australia.

What happened to the discounts?

With the vaping regulation change June 17, 2025, we can no longer provide any form of discounts.

Can you ship without the signature requirement?

Unfortunately, this is not possible. The signature requirement is part of R18 shipment, with ID check requirements, for legal purposes, much like alcohol.

Do you ship to Australia?

Due to the vaping ban in Australia as of July 2024, we can no longer ship any vaping products to Australia.
