Questions about Innokin Vapes & Pods

How does a refillable pod system work?
A refillable system uses a rechargeable battery unit and a pod that is filled from a bottle of e-liquid. Depending on the design, either the whole pod is replaced periodically or a replaceable coil inside it is. It can be used with any compatible e-liquid at any nicotine strength within the legal limits, including nicotine-free e-liquid. See Refillable and prefilled pod systems.
How often are pods and coils replaced?
A refillable pod with a built-in coil typically lasts one to three weeks, and a replaceable coil one to two weeks, depending on daily use, the e-liquid and the power setting. A burnt taste that does not clear, muted flavour or less vapour at the same setting are signs one is finished. See Pod and coil life.
Which e-liquid suits which device?
Nic salt e-liquid is formulated for low-power, mouth-to-lung devices such as pod systems. Freebase e-liquid is used in mouth-to-lung devices at lower strengths and in higher-powered sub-ohm devices. High-strength nic salt should not be used in a sub-ohm device. See Nicotine salt and freebase e-liquid.
Is ID needed to order?
Yes. Vaping products cannot be sold or delivered to anyone under 18, and an evidence-of-age check is required before an order is dispatched. On a first order you upload a photo of a New Zealand driver licence, passport or Kiwi Access (18+) card; later orders on the same account are dispatched without a further check. See Ordering online in NZ.
