Sub-ohm tanks use factory-manufactured coil heads that screw or press-fit into the tank base. Users fill the tank with e-liquid through a top-fill or sliding-fill mechanism, install a compatible coil, and the device is ready for use. When coil performance degrades, the coil head is replaced without disassembling the tank. Coil resistance options for sub-ohm tanks range from 0.15 ohms to 0.6 ohms, operating at wattages between 30W and 120W depending on the specific coil specification.

Rebuildable tank atomisers feature a build deck where users install their own handmade coils using resistance wire and organic cotton wicking material. The build deck sits within a tank section that holds e-liquid, feeding the wick through capillary action. RTAs offer customisable coil configurations, allowing users to tune resistance, coil mass, and wicking density to their preferred vaping characteristics.

Tank capacities across this collection range from 2mL to 5mL in standard configurations, with some tanks including extended glass sections or bubble glass options that increase capacity. Glass sections are replaceable in the event of breakage, with spare glass available separately.

Airflow adjustment is a standard feature on both sub-ohm tanks and RTAs, controlled via adjustable ring mechanisms at the base of the atomiser. Wider airflow produces direct-to-lung draws, while restricted airflow delivers tighter mouth-to-lung inhalation.
