This collection contains all replacement coil heads available at Vapourium for sub-ohm tanks, pod systems, and starter kits. Replacement coils are consumable components that require periodic replacement to maintain device performance. All coils are genuine manufacturer products compatible with their respective device platforms.

Coil heads consist of a resistance wire element wrapped around or woven through an organic cotton wicking medium, housed in a metal casing with threading or press-fit connections for installation into compatible tanks or pods. When electrical current flows through the resistance wire, it heats the e-liquid saturated in the cotton, producing vapour.

Coil resistance values across this collection span from 0.15 ohms to 1.2 ohms, corresponding to different vaping styles and power requirements. Low-resistance coils between 0.15 and 0.5 ohms are designed for direct-to-lung inhalation at higher wattages (40W to 120W). Mid-range coils between 0.6 and 0.8 ohms suit restricted direct-to-lung draws. High-resistance coils above 0.8 ohms are optimised for mouth-to-lung inhalation at lower wattages (8W to 20W).

Coil construction types include standard round wire, mesh coil, and ceramic elements. Mesh coils feature a flat metal mesh strip rather than a wound wire, providing increased surface area contact with the wick for more uniform heating and vapour production. Ceramic elements offer extended longevity compared to cotton-based coils.

Replacement coils are platform-specific and are not interchangeable between different device manufacturers or even different models from the same manufacturer. Each product listing specifies compatible devices. Coils are sold in multi-packs, typically containing three to five units. Products are restricted to persons aged 18 years and over.
