Remember, there are no silly questions!

Turning Your Vapouriser On/Off

Most devices are turned on/off by pressing the fire button rapidly either 3 or 5 times. It is always best to turn your vape off if you are putting it in your bag or pocket as you do not want it firing accidentally when you are not using it. If it does fire in your pocket it can burn out the coil or overheat the battery.

Priming New Coils

When using a new coil you need to "prime" it. To prime a coil, put a few drops of e-liquid down the centre hole of the coil (1 drop with smaller coils e.g. Innokin Zenith Coils or 3-4 drops with larger coils e.g. SMOK coils or Uwell Nunchaku Coils). This will help the e-liquid soak through the cotton faster. Fill your tank and wait for 10-15 minutes to make sure the cotton in the coil is fully soaked through.

Replacing Coils

Replaceable coils in tanks are disposable. They should last anywhere from approximately one week to around a month depending on how you've used them. With less frequent use or use at a lower wattage you may get even longer coil life. To extend the life span of your coil, ensure you don't let the tank go dry and stick to the wattage range recommended by the manufacturer. With most coils you can find the recommended wattage on the side of the coil itself, or on our website. You will know when to change your coil when it starts to taste burnt. The burnt taste is subjective, and will generally become harsh and unpalatable after time.

Filling

To fill most devices, unscrew or swivel the top of the tank and fill between the chimney in the centre and the glass of the outside of the tank. Keep an eye on your tank to ensure that you don't vape it completely dry, its always best to keep the cotton from your coils covered for best coil life.

Let your device sit vertically for 10-15 minutes after filling to allow the e-liquid to fully soak the cotton before use for best results..

Charging

Advanced Kits will either contain an internal battery, or use 18650, 20700 or 21700 lithium ion batteries. We recommend charging 18650, 20700 or 21700 batteries using a dedicated battery charger, as these will keep your batteries fresh for longer and are the safest option for everyday charging.

Internal Battery

If your device has a built in battery, you can charge your device with the micro USB cable provided. You can plug your USB cable into anything that will accept it. A Computer, TV, Game Console or Wall Charger is perfect. Fast charging/ quick charging ports are fine, but avoid using chargers that have a fixed USB cable that cant be removed (Most phone chargers) as these can cause permanent problems with your battery. To keep your battery healthy, we would also recommend avoiding charging your battery for long periods of time after it has fully charged. NEVER leave a charging vape unattended.

Charging Your External Battery

If your device uses external batteries, (most commonly 18650 lithium-ion batteries) we would recommend using an external charger for best overall battery life even if you can charge them via USB through your mod. Quality external chargers have better overcharge/overheat protections compared to onboard charging via the vapes USB. External chargers isolate the batteries when they are fully charged, meaning you can leave your batteries in your charger overnight without worrying about long term reduced battery life.

Warning

Li-ion batteries are high discharge batteries; they have the potential to draw an incredible amount of power in a very short time period. You need to be very careful with them. Never put loose batteries in your bag or pocket without a battery case, if they short out on your keys, loose change or metallic objects they can vent, and quiclky catch fire. Dont use any battery with a torn top or wrap, and avoid using a badly dented battery. We recommend that you always keep your spare batteries in a battery case, compatible charger or device at all times. If you have any concerns or questions about your battery, please contact us.

Regulated Mods With More Than One Battery

If your device uses multiple lithium-ion batteries, we strongly recommend using married batteries. Married batteries are the same type of battery, which were bought at the same time, from the same batch of batteries which have been charged and discharged together. If you use unmarried batteries in a multiple battery device you can expect poor battery life, and this will potentially damage your batteries. At a high wattage, using non-married batteries could cause your batteries to vent.

When charging married batteries, we strongly recommend using an external battery charger. Your mod may not evenly charge or discharge the batteries, putting more stress on one battery than the other, this can cause damage to your mod or batteries.

Setting The Appropriate Wattage

Different tanks and coils require a different wattage to perform effectively. Set your wattage according to the information on the coil or the box, once you have found your preferred wattage level, lock your device to avoid accidentally changing your settings. If the wattage is set too low for your coil, it might gurgle and you wont get very much vapour. If the wattage is set too high, you will burn your coils out quickly. All coils have the wattage range they are designed for written on the side of them, or on the box.

For example, on a coil that has "15-30W" written on the side of it you should use that coil between 15 and 30 watts.

Temperature Control

To use temperature control, you will need a Nickle, Titanium or Stainless Steel coil. Most coils are made from Kanthal or Nichrome, and these cannot be used for temperature control modes.

Using temperature control settings differs from your standard wattage settings, rather than changing only your wattage, you also have control over how hot your coil will get.

When the wire in your coil heats up, the resistance will change, your temperature control device will measure the resistance of your coil and cut off the power once it has reached your preset temperature.

To correctly measure the resistance of each type of wire, you need to make sure you have your device set to the appropriate temperature control settings.

Ni is nickel, Ti is titanium and SS is stainless steel. When nickel and titanium overheat, they can release gases which are unhealthy once you inhale them. Make sure that when using these types of wire you use the correct settings. With stainless steel you can use either temperature control or your standard wattage modes.

If you are unsure of the type of metal in your coil, stick to wattage mode.

Bypass

Bypass mode essentially turns your vape into an unregulated mod. Bypass mode delivers the maximum possible power to your coil, for massive clouds. Bypass mode hits hard when your batteries are fully charged, and as your batteries lose their charge you feel a decrease in output. Bypass mode is popular among RDA users, avoid using bypass mode if you aren't familiar with Ohms Law, as bypass will cause most coils to perform poorly.

Vaping

Turn your Vape on, begin inhaling and press the fire button to produce vapour. If there is a gurgling or spitting sound there may be too much e-liquid around the coil. Excess e-liquid will be vapourised once you begin using it, but there may be a small amount of spitting e-liquid until the excess is vapourised.

If your vape continues to spit, blow the excess e-liquid through your vapouriser via your mouthpiece.

If your vape continues to spit place the coil aside and rinse the tank out with warm water, then give it a good dry and reassemble.

Most leaking or spitting issues are caused by a loose coil, so make sure your coil is screwed or pressed firmly into place before putting your tank back together.
