Regulated Mods
This collection features regulated vape mods available at Vapourium, distinguished from mechanical mods by the inclusion of an electronic chipset that governs power delivery, safety protections, and user-adjustable settings.
Regulated mod chipsets perform several critical functions. Power regulation converts battery voltage into consistent, user-selected wattage output regardless of battery charge level, maintaining stable performance as the cell depletes. Safety monitoring includes short-circuit detection, low-voltage battery cutoff, overcharge protection, over-temperature protection, and atomiser resistance verification at the moment of firing.
Variable wattage is the primary operating mode, allowing users to set output anywhere from 5W to the device maximum, which ranges from 80W in compact single-battery mods to 230W in dual-battery configurations. Temperature control mode is available on most mid-range and advanced chipsets, regulating coil temperature by monitoring resistance changes in compatible wire types including stainless steel, nickel, and titanium.
Display screens on regulated mods show live operating data including current wattage, coil resistance, battery level, voltage output, and puff counter. Navigation is handled through physical buttons or, on some models, touch-screen interfaces.
Battery compartments accommodate either single or dual removable cells in 18650 or 21700 formats. Removable battery design allows users to carry spare charged cells for extended use. External battery chargers with balanced charging capability are recommended for all removable-cell devices.
Regulated mods connect to atomisers via 510 threading. Construction materials include zinc alloy and aluminium with ergonomic form factors. All products include manufacturer warranty documentation. Restricted to persons aged 18 years and over.
